While WordPress websites take skill to develop and design, they can be easily managed by our clients. We ensure that this is possible through providing a detailed handover guide with step-by-step instructions on how to update content and become familiar with the main features of your website’s backend.
We provide 4 weeks of aftercare support to our clients after handover has taken place. It includes support in helping you to carry out maintenance yourself and questions you may have. AWD carrying out maintenance work does not fall into the scope of aftercare support.
This is a very common question and the answer is – it depends! We thrive on ensuring that our work is carried out as quickly, yet efficiently, as possible. We never compromise on quality. The Doctor MJ site was completed within 2 weeks, whereas a website like Shannah Kennedy’s took 5 weeks to complete. Each website scope is unique so the time taken will depend on functionality and design elements involved.
All quotes are bespoke as they are tailored to your unique goals for your website. Prices for a brand new website start at $1,800/€1,150. Prices for refresh of an existing site will depend on the level of work involved and sometimes can be carried out as a VIP Day.
WordPress is open-source, meaning it is completely FREE to use and by hosting it yourself (through a company called SiteGround) you 100% own everything on your site. SiteGround hosting is the only annual fee you will actually have to pay. The rest depends on whether you choose to add some fancy plugins and high-tech functionality (these are not necessary for most websites).
All website packages are used as a guideline. Your website needs will most likely be unique and we will discuss everything brand and dream-client related on a consultation call so that we can create a scope of work and quote that is unique to your business’ position and aspirations.
Basic on-page SEO is included in each website’s development. This includes ensuring that pages are structured correctly and including basic keywords and meta descriptions on each main page. Technical SEO involves us doing in-depth research into your competitors, your dream clients – the search terms they may be using, and keyword trends to improve your search engine rankings. We also edit your website copy to include these keywords.
Technical SEO is not a one-time thing. Once our research findings have been implemented, we will send through a handover guide on how you can analyse your SEO stats and some tips on how to implement research yourself. Technical SEO should be carried out every 3-6 months. Don’t have time to do this yourself? We offer SEO retainers to our clients.
